It’s almost upon us! I’m going to be performing as will several other fantastic Pittsburgh writers. And it’s all for a good cause!
Phantom of the Attic Comics in Oakland held a shindig for the release of Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour. Check out some pictures. And if you’re in the Pittsburgh area, make sure to stop by the store on South Craig Street!
At the end of July, the lovely Kristin Ross is going to be throwing a major shindig (possibly even a hootenanny) for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. And if you’d like, we have a way for YOU to help.
We’re currently seeking donations for a raffle. All proceeds to benefit the GPLC. And while we’ve got some kick-ass stuff already, the more we get, the more we raise, the more people learn to read.
We’re looking for pretty much anything. Do you own/work for a small business that could chip something in? Know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody? Have a website that would contribute some free ad space? Have a random monkey you’re not using? People LOVE monkeys, you know.
Even if you can’t donate, feel free to pass this info along to anyone you know who might be able to. Word of mouth, people!

I seriously cannot wait. Last year was epic. This year will be epic-er. Is epic-er a word? Well, I just made it one, now didn’t I?
Yeah, that’s right. I’ve got a bunch of promo CD’s and swag kicking around my apartment that I just don’t have the space for. So, I’m offering people in Pittsburgh the chance to win some of this.
But see, I’m kind of anti-social and lonely. So I figured, hey, I can make people TALK to me if I do this. So here’s how the contest is going to work.

Step 2: Starting at around 1 PM, I give you the name of a Pittsburgh neighborhood, a hint about where I am, and a password or quote you will have to give me when you find me.
Step 3: Find me, give me the quote and I give you your prize package:
