I am a girl who does things. Here there be geekery, writing, feminism, photography, geeky feminism and sometimes ponies. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you're only here for the ponies.
Like what you saw or read here? Interested in getting rid of some of that pesky extra money you've got just sitting under your mattress? Well, consider throwing a few bucks in my tip jar!

Children’s: Young Adult
Cecil Castellucci’s THE TIN STAR and A STONE IN THE SKY, a two part series pitched as Casablanca recast, re-envisioned, and set on a space station, to Nancy Mercado at Roaring Brook Press, by Kirby Kim at William Morris Endeavor (NA).
Oh MAN. Cecil rocks my world. Seriously, if you haven’t checked out her other books already you should. All of her stuff is good, but for the sort of folks who tend to follow me? I highly recommend Boy Proof and Beige, as well as both volumes of the P.L.A.I.N. Janes book she did with artist Jim Rugg (DAMN YOU D.C. FOR ENDING THE MINX LINE AND CUTTING JANES SHORT!).
I’d also love to see P.L.A.I.N. Janes as a movie. Seriously, a group of outcasts named Jane who start an all-girl art gang? TELL ME we don’t need something like that right now!
